Tech Must-Haves for Virtual Teaching

This post is sponsored by Logitech

When it comes to technology,  I have been taking a minimalist approach. When virtual learning first started back in March of 2020, I honestly had no idea what I was doing or what I needed to feel successful. I didn't go out and grab multiple screens or purchase items to enhance what I was teaching. Through that experience, I learned what was needed. Here are my two MUST-HAVES when it comes to virtual teaching.

Logitech Crayon

Being a teacher, we need a tool that will be easy to direct students' attention, but also be able to write like we normally do on a school whiteboard. If you are like me, your handwriting is already not the greatest and then adding digital inaccuracies can make your handwriting unreadable. This is where the #Logitech Crayon comes in handy. I have been using this #LogitechCrayon for months now and it is so easy to use PLUS it actually transfers your normal handwriting. The Logitech Crayon can be easily charged with any iPhone cord and syncs seamlessly with your iPad. No pairing required!

Blue Microphone Snowball iCE

Anyone else have mic issues when using Google Meets? I know I have had plenty over the last several months. In addition to the Logitech Crayon, I have been pairing my teaching with the @BlueMicrophones #snowballice. Ensure that students can hear every word with the Snowball iCE USB microphone - the fastest, easiest way to get crystal-clear sound for recording or streaming. Powered by a custom cardioid condenser capsule, Snowball iCE delivers high-quality audio that’s light-years ahead of your built-in computer microphone. With effortless, plug-and-play setup, Snowball iCE works with any software for great-sounding results no matter how or where you use it—at home or in the classroom. I basically feel like a YouTube star and all of my students were impressed with my microphone choice. My students have mentioned time and time again how clear my voice sounds during my lessons. I also noticed a huge difference when recording videos.

I want to hear from you! What are some tech must-haves you use with your students?
